A year ago, we visited Kamil’s winery while celebrating Poszetka’s 15th anniversary and gathering material for our Everyday Classic magazine. That meeting turned into a friendship — and, quite naturally, as the idea has sprung up while having a dinner together, into a collaboration!

One of the central pieces of our Early Spring collection are two pairs of non-jeans - trousers that clearly reference the classic, but aren’t quite it; trousers made from something that looks a lot like denim… but isn’t. They borrow ideas, take inspiration, echo certain elements - yet ultimately do their own thing.

Not every Ivy-inspired collection needs the walls of Harvard or Princeton. Sometimes, a school that has stood for over a hundred years in the very heart of Katowice is more than enough.

This collection is our take on some of my favourite pieces that were staples for Ivy League students in the 1950s and 1960s, but were missing from Poszetka’s selection. We focused on the details, made a few subtle updates to improve the fit, but kept everything classic.

While the weather is still cold, it works perfectly as a mid-layer — even as a substitute for a tailored jacket; once temperatures rise, it becomes an excellent sportcoat alternative or a very practical overshirt. And it is a piece far closer to the world of classic tailoring than its origins might suggest.

I am very happy with the choice of this coat! Beautiful cut, fabric, pattern, weight - and length! I have been struggling finding any new coats on the market that meet my requirements when it comes to length, but here I found it. In fact, I would have liked it to be even longer - or at least have the option to have a tailor lengthening it by 5 cm. Anyways, keep up the good work! will be back for more coats!

Our showroom
Katowice has always been the central place for Poszetka - it is there in Silesia where it all began. Since 2013, we have also been running our showroom there, a place where you can meet us, our team and the spirit of the brand every day.
The store in Koszutka was established in a place with a history; in the premises where the previously for years housed a heavy tailoring shop, sewing miners' uniforms. In arranging this space, we decided to leave the this somewhat industrial atmosphere, which fits in with our image of contemporary Silesia atmosphere.

At Poszetka, besides our RTW collection, we also offer MTM tailoring. The scope of personalization is huge - from the choice of cut, through details such as the shape of the pockets, the width of the lapels. Most of these possibilities apply not only to jackets, but also to coats, vests and trousers.
