Light, airy and even a little homespun. Simple footwear called espadrilles, a bit similar like slippers, are a great choice for summer. Originating in Spain, they are sewn by experienced craftsmen using cotton or linen canvas and woven jute soles. They perform exquisitely in hot weather - whether for a walk to the beach or a stroll through a seaside town.
