It is easy to explain the history of clothes the name of which clearly indicates the origin, especially if it is about the sport. You know, the obvious things: a baseball cap, a cricket sweater, a polo coat, a polo shirt - no, that’s about tennis actually - or a rugby shirt.

We have previously mentioned that a Black Watch Tartan Jacket can be worn casually as a sportcoat or as a stylish alternative to black tie attire - but perhaps such claim is worth an explanation. Well, after all this is the Everyday Classic blog, a place where we prefer to approach subjects comprehensively, sometimes even encyclopedically. As enthusiasts, we believe that sometimes to explain seemingly simple and obvious matters, one has to delve into their historical backgrounds, which often span several centuries.

This is a continuation of our visit to Dominika and Dawid - we returned in the evening, in time for dinner. We came here more as fellow guests than observers; treating it as just our usual meeting with friends. Still more Everyday than Classic situation, but since it is festive season, it was kind of a special occasion... so this time everyone got their memo: let's dress nicely!
