Sky Blue Stripe OCBD Shirt
Our ‘American Oxford’ Albiate cotton OCBDs have earned a bit of a cult following over the years. While we strive to keep them in stock and restock sizes every few months, they still have a way of disappearing quickly - sometimes faster than we can manage. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep up with the demand - use “please notify me when back in stock” option if you wish to be the first to know about its comeback!
Although the fabric’s name, ‘American Oxford,’ suggests a traditional American influence - and its substantial weight certainly reflects that heritage - we’ve added our own European flair to the cut. While most of our seasonal OCBDs feature plackets, pockets, and box pleats, we’ve chosen to ditch these elements in favor of a cleaner design for four of our permanent-offer shirts. Rest assured, it’s still an OCBD through and through: the classic oxford cloth and our signature button-down collar remain unchanged!
The narrow-but-contrasting blue stripe is definitely among the top OCBD choices you can add to your wardrobe. It is a shirt that’s casual in nature but can handle a tie - even a patterned one! - with ease, looking equally good with shorts and rolled-up sleeves as with seasonal tailoring.
