Beige Harris Tweed Sportcoat

Harris Tweed is synonymous with quality and tradition; it is a fabric from the Outer Hebrides in Scotland, thick, durable, and - one might think - a bit old-school. At Poszetka, however, we present it in a modern edition (not for the first time and not the last!), in a cool shade of beige that also works perfectly in an urban setting.

What makes the fabric feel fresh is not only the color, but also the construction. As with our other sport jackets, we tailored it more “Italian-style,” with a light construction, a natural shoulder line, and a 3-roll-2 button closure. This particular jacket, in addition to the typical patch hip pockets, is also equipped with a patch breast pocket – a less common detail that slightly changes the character of the tweed.

The sportcoat works in different settings – worn in a classic, British way, e.g. with a Barbour jacket, or more Ivy-style, e.g. with an OCBD shirt. However, there’s nothing stopping you from taking a more eclectic approach, combining a waxed cotton jacket, corduroys, a fun shirt, and a Shetland sweater – Everyday Classic at its best!
