White Dobby Cord Shirt

A bit of western, a bit of workwear, and very Everyday Classic. We combined the snap-button style of cowboy shirts with a workwear fabric: dobby cord cotton.

Its texture is similar to fine corduroy, but without the velvety finish. The three-dimensional weave gives the shirt a casual feel and adds some character to its clean white color. Like most fabrics in our Working Class series, it softens beautifully with wear and develops a natural patina over time. The other details are both decorative and practical — the chest pockets easily hold small essentials (like a card holder), and the long-point collar works well on its own or with a tie.

This is a shirt you can wear open over a T-shirt or under a sportcoat, either as a relaxed, everyday piece or as something to tone down the formality of a classic outfit. It can even be more versatile than a typical denim western shirt!
