Japanese collection Kunisada Utagawa, actors Ichikawa Danjuro VII i Ichikawa Danjuro V
An artwork made by japanese artist Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1864) transferred onto one our favourite fabrics - unusually light and fluid mixture of cotton, modal and cashmere.
The original artwork was created using painted woodcut relief technique, depicting the actors Ichikawa Danjuro VII as Goro Tokimune and Ichikawę Danjuro V jako Kudo-Saemon Suketsune, in the "Soga mono" (the History of Soga line) drama.
One of our pocket squares from the 'Artworks Collection'.
