Navy Velvet Smoking Jacket

Summing up Poszetka’s 15th anniversary, we’re returning to some of our favourite and most trusted homewear pieces: pyjamas, robes, and dressing gowns. These are items that have accompanied us for years and that our customers have especially valued for their comfort and classic approach to at-home dressing.

This is a classic smoking jacket–style dressing gown, made from thick cotton velvet by the British mill Brisbane Moss and finished with contrasting piping. It nods to the tradition of the smoking jacket — the elegant, at-home version of a blazer that, in the 19th century, was worn after dinner to relax while protecting one’s clothes from cigar smoke.

Today, it’s above all a comfortable yet slightly more refined alternative to a blazer in at-home settings, especially when hosting guests.
