Undyed HBT Utility Shirt

For the new season, we have prepared a little less military - albeit still rooted in the same inspirations - version of our utility shirt from the Working Class series. It is a true overshirt by definition - a garment that can be worn in place of a shirt or as an extra layer over one; serving as a lightweight jacket outdoors and a casual alternative to a sportcoat indoors.

We made our version from durable Japanese herringbone twill cotton (HBT) with a visible pattern and a subtle, speckled texture of undyed cotton - cream with soft grey and brown flecks. The cut is simple, with two rectangular chest pockets, drawing from the mid-century US Army designs - but in this light, summery tone, it reminisces a bit of ecru denim jackets and workwear styles.

It works with just about everything - from jeans, through vintage military fatigues, our WWCCC label casual trousers and tailored pieces from the main Poszetka collection - in a wide range of colors. Throw it over a T-shirt, a shirt or a summer knit. The creamy tone is easy to wear and looks great in strong light – it’s the kind of piece you’ll find yourself reaching for often.
