Taupe Double-Breasted Tropical Wool Suit

We’ve always wanted to have a double-breasted summer suit in the collection - one that doesn’t need much accessories to look truly spectacular. And in this taupe tone, it does just that! It’s a modern-yet-classic piece: light in both color and weight, but also understated and, surprisingly, quite serious if you need it to be.

We made it from a very lightweight tropical wool that’s ideal for the warmer months; breathable, yet substantial enough to hold its shape, thanks to the springy, high-twist woolen yarns. The fabric feels airy without being see-through - making it perfect for summer wear. Like all the other suits and sportcoats we make, it has classic (and very classy) proportions - featuring an updated 6x2 cut with widened lapels - and a comfortable cut, backed up by the soft half-canvas construction with light padding.

You can wear it the classic way, with a shirt and tie, for a celebration or summer wedding. However, it also works beautifully in more casual combinations - with a knit polo, a T-shirt… or even sandals, if the occasion allows (think: beach party). Thanks to its versatile shade, it complements a wide range of skin tones - just adjust the contrast of the other pieces to suit your look.
