Violet Wool/Linen Sportcoat

Each season, we choose one less typical color to highlight - and this time, it’s violet. The shade appears throughout the collection in various forms, so naturally, it had to make its way onto a sportcoat as well. Understated, yet surprisingly easy to wear; with the right saturation and texture, it fits effortlessly into any wardrobe.

This sportcoat is made from a linen-wool blend by renowned Italian mill Drago. The fabric is breathable, with the characteristic texture of linen, but it holds its shape well and doesn’t wrinkle as easily thanks to the high wool content. The cut is our house style classic, with a lightweight construction and patch pockets for a relaxed touch.

It pairs best with garments in calm, neutral tones - think linen or cotton trousers in white, ecru, grey or sandy beige. It works beautifully with light blue, muted olive, and even classic navy. You can style it casually with knitwear or a T-shirt, or go the more traditional route with a shirt and tie. It’s a refreshing departure from the usual palette - still refined, still elegant.
