Washed Chambray Button-Down Shirt
Chambray is a fantastic casual fabric - textured, soft, and breathable. Like denim, it features a bi-colored weave, with a white weft and a colored warp. For this shirt, we’ve chosen a pre-washed fabric that has been softened from deep indigo to a lighter, more summer-ready shade.
Made from mid-weight cotton chambray cloth, this shirt follows the same formula as our semi-casual OCBDs. It features a lightly lined button-down collar (designed to be worn with or without a tie), a convenient chest pocket, wide placket and a box pleat for added comfort. This versatile cut strikes a balance between our most casual unlined collar shirts and typical business-oriented spread collar variants, making it an easy everyday choice.
So comfortable, you’ll want to wear it with everything - and rightfully so! The chambray shirt moves easily between casual and smart outfits, pairing just as well with jeans and chinos as it does with a sportcoat and a textured tie.
