Silverbelly Western Hat
After the winter homburg hat - a formal classic - we took a step down the formality ladder, looking for a more casual hat shape that would work well with our spring styling and the ‘Western Noir’ capsule.
In fact, the story behind its origins runs a bit deeper. The idea to create it emerged after Polkap, our go-to hat manufacturer from Skoczów, Poland, suffered damage during last September’s flood (ironically, in the year they were celebrating their 100th anniversary!). To get the factory up and running again, they began collecting orders from collaborators and revisiting designs from their archive - and we were happy to contribute our part.
We settled on a classic design that isn’t far from the cowboy style, featuring the characteristic western crown but balanced with a shorter brim that makes it more understated and easier to wear in the city. The hat is crafted from rabbit fur felt in a grayish-beige silverbelly color - one most associated with western style, yet highly versatile at the same time.
You can wear it with a western shirt and a pair of jeans (in your shade of choice) for a full-on cowboy-inspired look, or opt for a more understated pairing with a chore coat, blazer, or suit - just as some of the famous figures of the 20th century did.
- Fabric: 100% rabbit hair

To correctly measure the circumference of the head, measure the circumference of the forehead approximately 1 cm above the ears.
