Władysław Ludwig Ślewiński (1856–1918) was a Young Poland Movement artist associated with post-impressionism and the Art Nouveau style. He was connected with the École de Pont-Aven, where he had the opportunity to meet Paul Gauguin. Among Ślewiński's works, one can find remarkable still lifes, portraits, and Highland landscapes, as well as marines, views of France, and colorful depictions of Kazimierz Dolny's architecture.
