Dusty Pink Japanese Motif Bandana
We have a soft spot for Japanese art - so this season, we have reached for it again, this time focusing on Taguchi Tomoki’s woodblock prints from the Yatsuo no tsubaki (1860-1869) book from the late Edo period.
Except “Tiger” and “Crane” prints we have recreated on our pocket squares, we have prepared a series of 45x45cm bandanas with a motif inspired by another of Tomoki’s original works from the same period. Their dusty, pastel tones complement our summer tailoring and shirts perfectly, tying up the outfit with a casual-but-chic accessory.
We have printed the design in England on a breezy cotton/cashmere/modal mix to fully showcase the delicate tones that perfectly complement summer tailoring. Obviously, as with all of our square scarves, bandanas and pocket squares, the edges are hand-rolled by our skilled craftswomen locally, here in Katowice.
