Barré Summer Work Shirt

With our summer work shirt, we drew inspiration from the work shirts of the past, often made in unusual fabrics.

Such colors and textures are hard to find nowadays, but we've discovered a lovely, vintage-esque barré cotton made by Albini - the irregularly woven stripes create a deep and nuanced texture, perfect for the vibe. For this cloth, we've developed our new work shirt model, featuring two flap chest pockets (useful for safely carrying your card holder/wallet in the summer!), a long point collar, placket, and a box pleat on the back.

You can wear it casually on its own - tucked into trousers or jeans or unbuttoned over a t-shirt - or add a little spice to a summer suit or separates ensemble, providing an interesting base layer for the jacket. Sage green, cream, and reddish tones perfectly fit into the pastel theme of our spring/summer collection, but they also complement the classic tones of gray and navy really well.
