Gray Herringbone Flannel Suit
Conceptually, this suit might be considered as bridge between a classic grey flannel suit and the herringbone tweed jacket - very versatile, very Ivy-style, very Everyday Classic. It can be worn from business to casual, through whole fall and winter season - however you like it. That is exactly why we wanted this model in this year’s collection!
We have cut it from soft Vitale Barberis Canonico flannel, featuring a discreet herringbone pattern, much subtler than what you usually see on tweed jackets. It’s tailored in our signature light construction we use for all of our sportcoats, with natural shoulder line, thin layer of canvas and patch pockets, for superior comfort.
This shade of grey opens the door to endless combinations, pairing naturally with almost everything - it can serve as a base for tonal sets or as an counterpoint to a strong color used as an accessory. We especially like it with a touch of yellow, which adds warmth and breaks up the classic look, particularly in more casual outfits.
