During the summer it is the norm to wear linen shirts, trousers, jackets or whole suits. Linen, after all, is a perfect fabric for the hottest months, ensuring great breathability and unparalleled thermal comfort.
When it comes to linen ties though, thermal comfort doesn't really matter as much as the roughness, matte finish and raw texture - very prized in this case indeed. Thanks to those the tie is decidedly less formal than those made form, say, silk jacquard.
Well suited for casual, yet smart outfits and summer suits, definitely for the less formal of events. Will it crease? A bit, for sure. But that only makes it better!
One of the most important parts of the tie is it's interlining and the construction. The springy insides of our ties are made in Italy from cotton-wool fibers. In this particular tie, we've used two layered cotton-wool canvas.
