Crownhill The Munich

Comfort and an incomparable finish are the characteristic signs of our Derby in mocca suede, The Munich. Handmade in Spain, the closing of the leaves of this model makes them perfect for gentlemen with wide instep. The shape of the wing tip emphasizes it's dynamic caracter, while the full brogue lends style and modernity to the classic cut. This is an ideal shoe to wear during the sunny hours alongside a pair of jeans or a tweed suit. High quality suede makes them ideal to use them as a daily shoe or for any season of the year.

The Munich is a laced shoe manufactured following an artisanal process and utilising Blake construction. Cut with suede of the first qualitiy, comes mounted on our Wellesley last, thus giving us a slightly wider shoe and with a sharper edge. The inside of the shoe is lined with vegetable tanned calf leather. The sole leather is tanned with oak and comes with an embedded Spy, ideal for wet surfaces. In addition, our patented FlexiComfort system will absorb the weight of the foot making your walk comfortable and you won’t have to suffer during the long days in the office. 

Wellesley Last: The Wellesley is shorter and with a round sharp tip, the result is a more visually compact form and with a bit more edge than the Crawford. All this makes it perfect choice for mounting on Balmoral and Chukka boots.

This last has a wide instep and a subtly marked shank, making it ideal for penny loafers as well as tasseled Oxfords. The Wellesley is certainly one of our most versatile and popular lasts.

All of our shoes from our classic line are made with Dupuy box calf, from one of the best tanneries of the world. We guarantee color, texture and unique smell in all of our models.

Inside the box you will find a shoehorn with which you can put on your shoes on comfortably and avoid any damage. A good shoe must always be put on with a shoehorn.

You will also find an elegant black bag made of Italian cotton in order to protect your shoes and shield them from dirt, scratches and direct sunlight which in time may damage the skin of the shoes. Our cotton bag is ideal to take your shoes with you wherever you go while remaining stylish.
