Poszetka x Joe Dator

Yes, we have a t-shirt of our own now! It's... a standard white tee, made from good quality cotton, sewn in a dependable polish manufacture.

What makes it unique? An illustration from the iconic New Yorker, drawn by Joe Dator. We're not at all humble, so we can brag a bit about how proud we are about getting Joe to work with us on this project, resulting in the iconic drawing immortalized on our tee.
This t-shirt is a wink towards the ongoing casualisation and the unpleasant reality. We quite often observe such a pitchfork and torch wielding group in our comment sections, looking for a witch to burn. The pitchforks being "the tie is too long", "pants too short", "what are the white socks doing there" (we've done it again though ;))
To your enjoyment we've released a new set, the t-shirt and the tote bag. You can grab it now at a lower price. To each set we enclose a sticker with the comic.
The New Yorker illustrations are a chunky piece of history. Many of the american comedy talents earned their stripes there (Jack Hunter, Saul Steinberg, Charles Addams, Peter Arno).
Some of the phrases used in the drawings became catchphrases, like the one from the 1928 cartoon drawn by Carl Rose. "I say it's spinach", later included in the Face the Music Broadway Musical, more precisely in the Irving Berlin's "I Say It's Spinach (And the Hell with it)".

Joe Dator has been a cartoonist for The New Yorker since 2006. He is a winner of The National Cartoonists Society’s 2018 Silver Reuben Award, which he hopes will somehow raise his credit score. Joe has been featured in two documentaries about the cartoonists of The New Yorker, including one for HBO, and has been profiled in a video by The Atlantic.

He also contributes to MAD Magazine and Esquire, and has been commissioned to illustrate for such businesses as The Walls Vineyards, Bank of America, and Banana Republic.

Perfect !!

Not only the garment ordered filled all my expectations but also the staff did it remarkably well. I made a mistake with the size when I ordered the coat and, just after sending them an email asking to change the size, they quickly did it. Thank you so much!
