It often happens that even after hard and sad times, precious and nice souvenirs remain. Clothes are no exception here - the trenches of the Great War left behind a trench coat, World War II resulted in adoption of modern dress (and to a smaller degree, suit) cuts and the Vietnam War gave us the M65 jacket... Now it turns out that the period of the Polish People's Republic (PRL) resulted in a great, functional raincoat!
We have never thought that our collection may one day include something directly inspired by the technical clothing straight from the Polish People's Republic times. Well, this story definitely deserves to be told from the beginning!

Meanwhile, we will leave you with the essence:
The fabric from famous Cerruti mill truly innovative cloth, tailored to the needs of sartorial clothing - unlike the majority of technical fabrics, it is synthetic, but a natural, high-quality wool covered with a breathable membrane that has water and wind repellent properties. The saturated yellow that you can see in some photos is not the coat’s lining - it is the membrane itself, which in addition to the practical functions also adds depth to the outer navy blue side every time the light hits at the right angle. After seeing the cloth for the very first time, we just knew we had to take it.
When we were looking for a way to incorporate it into our new collection, we had something extraordinary yet very practical in mind. Suddenly our seamstress, Mrs. Halinka, came to help, mentioning the nylon raincoats popular at the end of the communist era. Although these were rather rough and poorly finished garments, we were enamored by their very practical (sometimes ingenious!) features and simple yet effective design. Pure function over form.
Our autumn proposal draws a lot from that original, but is made out of contemporary cloth and according to modern standards, with the same attention to details as in our jackets and suits. This raincoat will effectively and stylishly protect all your clothes underneath, whether it be a suit or just a sweater and jeans.
