Hemp Canvas Raglan Sleeve Overshirt
Overshirts and work jackets of all kinds are deeply rooted in workwear style — and since our Working Class line draws from this kind of “other classic,” more everyday and utilitarian, they naturally take on the role of a major layer.
When looking for inspiration, we sometimes focus on the cut, sometimes on the fabric — in this case, the former will be familiar. We return to our signature design with raglan sleeves (for ease of movement), three front pockets (a subtle nod to tailored jackets), and classic proportions (making it versatile enough to stand in for more formal pieces). What sets this one apart is the fabric: a canvas cloth woven in Poland from a blend of locally grown hemp and Greek cotton.
While such a combination is relatively rare today, hemp fibers have a long history — used for centuries in textile production thanks to their durability and properties similar to linen (a matte texture and excellent moisture management), which we still appreciate today.
The “midnight” color sits somewhere between black and navy — a deep, dark, and highly versatile shade that works across a wide range of outfits, not just in summer — and not only within workwear looks.
