Tobacco Linen Suit

In our view, the combination of this color, a shade of brown known as tobacco and this fabric - a coarser, more substantial linen, is a perfect match. A linen suit like this performs exceptionally well during the warmer months, even in less formal settings.

We made it from the same Irish linen as our summer trousers. A fabric that, thanks to its heavier weight, drapes well and holds its shape (and crease!), creating more natural, softer rumples instead of the typical sharp wrinkling associated with lighter Italian linens. Despite its substance, it remains breathable and handles moisture very well — the open weave ensures comfort in the heat, further supported by the jacket’s lightweight construction.

The character of this suit allows it to be styled in multiple ways: with a shirt (even with a tie), with a polo, or with a knitted T-shirt. Depending on the accessories, it can lean elegant, business-appropriate, or more relaxed. Suitable for a wedding, but just as fitting for summer occasions with a more laid-back tone.
