Classic Double-Breasted Navy Blazer
A navy blazer is always a good choice, right? We believe in that principle, which is why another piece joins our Classics selection, this time in a double-breasted cut, made exactly the way we imagine the perfect blazer.
For it to be durable and timeless, we long sought the perfect fabric, finally choosing the vintage finish Japanese-made hopsack with an incredibly matte texture and a particularly dry hand. Thanks to its high-twist nature and substantial weight (315g), the cloth is crease-resistant and bounces back to its shape easily, while the open weave and airy texture make it perfectly breathable and suitable to be worn all year round.
This model is a twin of our already well-known single-breasted classic – it shares fabric, gold buttons, and a lightweight half-canvas construction with a natural shoulder line. It differs from the latter with a double-breasted closure (6-to-2) and a curved breast pocket.
Contrary to popular belief, a double-breasted blazer isn’t necessarily more formal than a single-breasted one - just try it unbuttoned over a pair of well-worn jeans and a loose OCBD! We love it with tropical woolens and linens in the summer, cavalry twills and gabardines in the transitional season, and denim no matter the time of the year. We pair it with all kinds of shirts, ranging from linen button-downs to plain poplin ones (with an honorable OCBD mention), knitwear, ties, and pocket squares. We enjoy it at work and at leisure, dressing it up with sleek loafers or just running around in sneakers. It can do casual, it can do business; you name it!

Size up!
Due to the fabric’s specific weave, this jacket has a slightly tighter fit – we recommend sizing up. If you usually wear a size 48, go for a 50.
The table refers to the dimensions of the clothes (L = long version)
