Brown Houndstooth Sportcoat

Our spring–summer jacket collection is built around soft colors, subtle textures, and lightweight fabrics the kind that work well for everyday wear and remain comfortable as the temperature rises.

Houndstooth is a pattern that sits somewhere between herringbone and a check: more expressive than a simple texture, yet calmer than a large-scale pattern. In this version, it combines cool shades of warm colors - chocolate brown and taupe. The blend of wool, silk, linen and cotton gives the fabric an interesting hand feel and a refined, summery texture, while open weave keeps the breathability. As with our other sport coats, this one is made in a light, more Italian style, too: half-canvas, without shoulder pads, with natural shoulder line, curved barchetta chest pocket, and patch side pockets.

It’s a great seasonal take on a brown jacket, which can be almost as versatile as classic navy. It works well with dark tailored trousers and a tie, but feels just as natural in a more summery look with cream trousers and an open blue shirt. It also fits perfectly into weekend casual outfits, for example with a knitted T-shirt and jeans.
