Black and Navy Herringbone Sportcoat

You’re not supposed to pick favorites, but… this is probably our favorite among the new jackets. A classic that at first glance feels familiar, yet on closer look turns out to be a surprisingly distinctive fresh take on a well-known color.

This sportcoat reads as navy from a distance, but up close reveals its uniqueness: the fabric blends navy and black fibers for that extra depth of color. The loosely woven herringbone, a mix of wool, silk, linen and cotton, is highly breathable and almost resembles a light mesh. This, paired with a light half-canvas construction with no padding and natural shoulder line, makes it a perfect summer alternative to a classic blazer.

It’s a rare example of navy that pairs effortlessly even with black - both in trousers and accessories. It also works beautifully with all kinds of lighter colors; linens and tropical wools as well as with the full color range of denim. It’s ideal to wear as a versatile seasonal jacket with a slightly less obvious character.
