Brown and Yellow Check Sportcoat

Although we often reach for cool shades and “city” fabrics, we couldn’t pass this one by. It caught our attention not only because of the pattern itself, but also thanks to its composition, which fits perfectly into the summer character of the collection.

Interestingly, here hemp fibers take the lead over wool. It’s a natural material with properties similar to linen — breathable and moisture-wicking — but with a more even, less slubby texture. This serves as the base for a brown-and-yellow check that brings the surface to life and gives the jacket a slightly southern character, especially when combined with our Italian-meets-Poszetka details: a lightweight half-canvas construction with no shoulder padding, a curved barchetta breast pocket, and patch pockets.

It’s a piece that can handle even the hottest days — and one of those garments that stands out on its own, yet still works effortlessly within the earthy palette of the collection. And if the occasion calls for something more conventionally elegant… just add a light blue shirt, a navy tie, and charcoal pleated trousers and voilà, even a pattern like this takes on a distinctly urban character.
