Brown Herringbone Body Warmer

Quilted vests – affectionately known as body warmers – are a practical extra layer that can be worn both under and over various other garments from our collections.

This piece is perfect not only for winter, but also for cooler spring and autumn days. The thicker fabric – in this case, coating-weight wool from the Italian Bottoli mill, woven in a beige and brown herringbone pattern – is lined with insulation, effectively protecting against cold and wind. The double zipper allows you to fasten it all the way up to the neck, or simply "catch" the vest at the waist when the weather warms up.

You can wear the body warmer under a coat, casual jacket, or even a sportcoat – over a shirt, sweater, or light overshirt. In the winter months, it looks especially good in styles inspired by the Après Ski aesthetic – combined with a thick sweater and a scarf or shawl tied around the neck – and in spring, when the temperatures outside reach a dozen or so degrees, it even goes well with a shirt with rolled-up sleeves.
