White Chambray Asymmetrical Pocket Workshirt
We love our workshirts. After perfecting the cut and experimenting with different fabrics over the past few years, we’ve reached a point where they serve our needs, the needs of modern work, just as well, if not better, than their workwear predecessors that inspired us did decades ago. That said, they’ve earned a permanent place in Poszetka collections under our more casual Working Class label.
For most of them, we use our proven asymmetrical pocket design, which blends the best of both worlds in terms of practicality. One pocket features a buttoned flap to keep small essentials secure (a cardholder, for example), while the other remains open, perfect for sunglasses or a pen, with a designated slot for it. The shirt is cut looser than our standard dress shirts and features a box pleat at the back. It’s also slightly shorter in length, with a subtly reshaped hem that allows it to be worn both tucked in and untucked.
And speaking of versatility, the vintage-inspired collar is soft and comfortable, yet its points are long enough to accommodate a tie, should you ever feel inclined to wear one. A true all-rounder, a classic reimagined, workwear of the past, for the labor of today, as the motto of our WWCCC line says.

Fabric story
We keep coming back to chambray - and play with its colors. Although this fabric is most often associated with indigo, it doesn’t have to be. Its plain-weave typically combines a white (or undyed) warp with a darker-colored weft, resulting in a fabric that is more textured while remaining lightweight and breathable. We found our favorite lightweight version in Japan, arguably the best destination today when it comes to denim and other high-quality casual cottons.
This one could technically be called not chambray, as it’s all white; however, it uses the same construction as the other versions and essentially feels the same. Its versatility hardly needs emphasizing, it’s a true do-it-all casual white shirt.
