Buffalo Plaid Wool Jacket - Working Class
The Buffalo Plaid pattern immediately brings a cozy, comfortable shirt to mind - but for our Working Class collection, we’ve raised the bar and taken it a step further, making not a shirt, but a proper jacket from heavyweight Shetland tweed from Scotland. It wears warm, as it should - functioning essentially as outerwear or as a casual alternative to a tweed jacket.
The cut blends military and workwear influences - we took inspiration from M51 woolen shirts and CPO shirts, incorporating their two centrally positioned flap pocket silhouette with yoke detailing into a classic, lumberjack-inspired concept for an insulating checked garment.
You can wear it as a jacket, an overshirt, or even as a shirt - as you like. It truly deserves the title of: workwear of the past, for the labour of today.
About fabric: The Working Class series is made from durable fabrics designed to withstand the test of time. Apart from the denim, these are all unwashed and untreated - they start tough but soften with each wear. Depending on how you treat them, they will develop a unique patina and wear pattern.
