Broken Twill Chore Coat - Working Class
For our Working Class collection, we’ve reimagined the classic four-pocket chore coat in a type of denim that truly caught our interest: broken twill denim, distinguished by its subtle zigzag pattern formed by reversing the diagonal weave at every two warp ends.
Also, for ease of wearing, we have deliberately softened the fabric with a rinse process - this way, you can wear the garment over your pale shirt or tee without risking indigo stains on your precious fabrics.
It is, indeed, a contemporary version of the classic - as we like to call it: workwear of the past, for the labour of today.
About fabric: The Working Class series is made from durable fabrics designed to withstand the test of time. Apart from the denim, these are all unwashed and untreated - they start tough but soften with each wear. Depending on how you treat them, they will develop a unique patina and wear pattern.
