Plum Purple Donegal Tweed Suit

We wanted to create a worthy successor to our "Midnight" suit, which many of you will remember - that’s why we returned to the tried-and-tested Donegal tweed with its signature colorful flecks, but in a fresh, unexpected shade. The result is a suit built purely for the joy of wearing it - distinctive and a welcome break from routine, yet muted enough to pair effortlessly with classic menswear staples.

The deep, plum hue sits close to navy, making it surprisingly versatile — while accents of blue, light blue, orange, olive, and lilac add depth to the texture. Despite the fabric’s substantial weight, the suit remains comfortable, thanks to its soft, easy-wearing half-canvas construction with very light padding.

For those looking to make the most of this fabric, we also made a matching waistcoat. Worn as a full three-piece suit, it looks elegant and slightly retro - but it’s just as easy to find striking combinations without it, for both day and evening, as even in a minimalist outfit with a black turtleneck, this suit would stand out. And importantly, it’s easy to break the suit up into separates: the jacket works beautifully with jeans or gray trousers, while the plum tweed trousers pair naturally with almost any of our Shetland sweaters.
