As we sought a footwear option bridging the gap between our traditional Goodyear-welted offerings and the casual feel of Novesta sneakers, our quest led us to the French family-owned Cléon Manufacture and their KLEMAN brand. Beyond the 'Made in France' distinction, KLEMAN emerges as a European hidden gem with a storied lineage and distinctive style.

KLEMAN Embruns Oak is their more rugged interpretation of a classic boat shoe, sometimes called the camp moc: less nautical, more casual and practical for everyday wear. They are summer shoes, but not only: sturdier, comfortable and ready for more than just a walk along the promenade.

The thicker sole provides better cushioning and greater resistance to changing conditions, making them well suited for long walks. The light brown shade pairs well with a lighter summer palette: beige, white, olive or washed denim, but will work just as well in autumn, in transitional-season outfits.
