Gray Chore Coat UNITRA

Part of the POSZETKA x UNITRA limited collection, inspired by “The Beauty of Polish Engineering” — the motto behind the revival of the Polish hi-fi legend.

The jacket piece of this collaboration simply had to be a chore coat — one of our favorite workwear styles, inspired by the way stylish engineers might have dressed in the past, but cut for the needs of a contemporary casual wardrobe.

In the search for the right fabric, we found a common thread. It turns out that Japan is home to both some of the best audio components and some of the best cotton fabrics — and that’s where this HBT fabric came from. Its texture is inspired by denim: gray and undyed yarns are woven into a fine herringbone pattern, creating a beautiful, matte surface that somewhat mimics the brushed aluminum UNITRA often uses in its designs. Since both brands believe in the strength of the Made in Poland label, our chore coat — just like the rest of the POSZETKA x UNITRA collection — is cut and sewn in Poland.

We tend to wear it separately, often pairing it with jeans — it’s a very versatile jacket/overshirt — while the UNITRA team wears it as a set, together with our “POSZ-53” trousers, creating a contemporary uniform and a thoroughly informal take on the suit.
