Charcoal Check Flannel Double-Breasted Suit

A grey flannel suit is a fall/winter staple, but this time we wanted to take it a step further. Instead of a standard silhouette, we went for a double-breasted cut and a fabric with a subtle, muted check.

We tailored it from a heavy, substantial wool flannel that holds its structure while draping beautifully. The check pattern is subtle and monochromatic - dark grey set against charcoal - adding depth and texture without dominating the outfit, giving you plenty of freedom when choosing accessories. The jacket is made in an updated double-breasted cut (with 6x2 button closure) with broad peak lapels. Built on a soft half-canvas construction with very light shoulder padding, it offers genuine comfort and ease of movement.

At its most formal, paired with a striped shirt and tie, it makes a power-suit impression, minus the cliché pinstripes. But lose the tie and layer it over a knit long-sleeve polo or fine sweater and you will get a relaxed yet sharp winter evening look.
