Fascinated by functional design, drawn to simplicity of form and convinced that Made in Poland matters more than ever, we have made a limited collection of clothing and accessories inspired by the beauty of Polish engineering — the motto behind the revival of a legendary Polish audio brand.
We wanted every piece to work on its own, as a practical everyday option, and as a full set — reworked workwear, a contemporary take on the engineer's uniform of the past. We prefer to mix it up with other Poszetka pieces; Unitra team tens to reach for the full set, a casual “suit”.
This is also the latest chapter of our casual Working Class line, and many of the cuts and fabrics you already know come back here with a few extras. Our fabric research led us to Japan again — once we learned how many of the best-quality audio components come from there, along with the finest cottons, there was no other way.
The classic chore coat arrives in a cold, technical grey HBT cloth, woven from a mix of grey and undyed yarns. From the same cloth we have cut a modified version of our POSZ-53 trousers, complete with an extra pocket sized for a set of small screwdrivers (or, more realistically, a phone).
The asymmetrical-pocket work shirt is made from an unusual chambray, with coloured flecks à la Donegal tweed that reminded us instantly of analogue hiss and the crackle of vinyl.
As for accessories, a brand called Poszetka could hardly skip the pocket square: here it doubles as a bandana, in a slightly larger 45 × 45 cm format, printed with a technical drawing of the UNITRA logo. Alongside it, a cap in pink with subtle “U” embroidery.
All of it made in Poland — though not by engineers, as with UNITRA's own products, but by cutters, tailors and seamstresses. The beauty of Polish not-only-engineering.
