The integral part of our Everyday Classic blog will be The Questionnaire - a repeating series of questions answered by our special guests. We invite you to read the first episode, starring Tomek Godziek - the person who, together with his beloved wife Asia, established Poszetka.com and runs it to this day.

1. Tell us briefly about yourself. What's your everyday life like?
I am an ordinary father and husband, this my vocation, this is what defines me every day.
2. How did you discover menswear and how did this journey begin?
It must have been a notary appointment when I have seen a pocket square for the very first time. That happened 10 years ago, when the pocket squares were called butonierka (polish term for boutonnière/buttonhole on a lapel) by mistake and my clothes collection consisted of 1 suit and 3 shirts only :). Back home I searched for an online shop selling this kind of accessories, to no avail - and that's exactly why my wife Asia and I decided to establish Poszetka.com
3. How would you describe your everyday style? Do you have any particular style that you love and stick to?
I think that my style is best described by Poszetka's "Everyday Classic" motto, meaning it is classical and comfortable. The clothes are for me, not the opposite. That's why I love classicaly dressed Italians for their smile and ease, they are so natural. I also maintain a huge respect for english fabrics and classic design. All that somehow combines into a coherent whole.
4. Your single favourite piece of clothing?
A sportcoat in general. The softer the better, preferably no padding nor lining. Can there be anything more practical than a pretty elegant outer garment with a few spacious pockets and a collar that can be popped when the weather gets too windy?
5. Your favourite, most worn pair of shoes?
My pair of Yanko loafers, worn all-year round, beaten up so much that they have just recently been sent to Wielki Shoe for a much needed renovation :)
6. The garment that you have been dreaming of, but still have not acquired?
A proper raglan coat... but fortunately it will change very soon! Just keep watching our website...
7. Your biggest style icon and the biggest inspiration?
I just love the style and smile of Frank Sinatra - for me, he is the best proof that the classic elegance can look effortless and easy. If I were to choose from the Polish guys only, I would name Mikolaj Pawelczak (Blue Loafers), whose style I really like and admire.
8. What makes you like Poszetka.com the most?
That it simply is. That it makes me enjoy going to work every day. That it is so flexible that my family benefits from it. I also have to mention our new Poszetka family - all the people who work with us and our fantastic, forgiving clients who play the main role in creating our company. They are all a real treasure.
9. Your favourite product from Poszetka.com range? What thing would you recommend in particular?
I just love our new, incoming RTW tailoring collection, especially tweed jacket and our safari model that I've been testdriving for a while. It's hard to pick a single thing, but that shouldn't come to you as surprise - I have to put my name under everything we release :)
The products I would recommend? Most of all, our ties and pocket squares. We source our fabrics from the best producers in the world, the same ones who supply eg. Drake's and Turnbull & Asser. We cut them and sew locally in Upper Silesia (I would personally say that they are up to the same quality standards as those mentioned brands), meaning we can sell our products at a fair price point, with a really high quality to price ratio.
10. What are your hobbies apart from your job and the menswear world?
And the family? :)
I am a huge fan of hockey and music, I enjoy snowboarding. I had to give up playing trumpet for my neighbours' peace, but hopefully I will come back to it one day. I love sea and mountains, where I can feel closer to God. My recent passion is loving every day, every little thing that life brings. Highly recommended for everyone!
Wait for the next parts of these series, which will introduce many more of the interesting people from the menswear world. See you!
